CONTEMPORARY HOUSE
Our clients, a young family, envisioned their home as a place where elegance and comfort coexist harmoniously. Tired of traditional interpretations of luxury, they sought something truly different. Their desire to live in a space that reflects modern status—through quality, not excess—inspired us to create a unique project.
The centerpiece of the double-height space is a fireplace clad in natural stone. It skillfully divides the ground floor into two functional areas: on one side, a cozy living room with a TV area, and on the other, a spacious dining area that seamlessly flows into the kitchen. As the sun sets over Limassol’s hills, the built-in lighting of the fireplace creates a special ambiance, while the panoramic windows turn the city lights into a dynamic backdrop for family evenings. Designer coffee tables made of amber-toned blown glass near the sofa echo other accent elements in the space, creating a cohesive composition.
A striking feature is the hand-sculpted wall above the dining table, which transitions gracefully from the double-height area to the single-story volume, adding refined texture to the interior. In the dining area, we fulfilled the clients' wish for a space where meals and conversations take center stage, free from unnecessary distractions. A marble table and designer chairs set the scene for a space where people and shared moments take priority.
The kitchen embodies a fresh take on luxury. A unique amber glass island was designed as a response to the family’s desire for something truly special. In the evening, the integrated lighting adds depth and mystery to the space, highlighting the sleek elegance of the dark marble walls.
With this project, SENCE ARCHITECTS redefined premium living—through the lens of those who understand that true luxury lies in details, tranquility, and the freedom to be oneself.
