QUIET
This project tells the story of a Ukrainian family in Alberta who dreamed of a home where every corner “speaks” their language. It’s not just a 1100 sq.m house, but a place where design becomes an extension of their habits, joys, and quiet evenings by the fire.
The Concept:
We understood the main idea — it had to be warm (even when it's -30°C outside) and simple (even in luxury). So, we chose natural materials: travertine, marble, and veneered wood. Not only do they look elegant, but they also “age” with the owners, acquiring a history of their own.
Details we love:
The Living Room — this is the stage for life. A U-shaped sofa in a soft sand color, a marble coffee table-sculpture, a travertine fireplace that silently gathers the family in the evening. And the panoramic windows, which “dissolve” the boundary between the room and the patio.
The Kitchen-Studio — for those who love to cook with joy. A marble island where people cook, have breakfast, and laugh together. Veneered facades and hidden storage systems — beauty without overloading.
The Bedroom-Sanctuary — here, even the morning cappuccino tastes different. Warm parquet underfoot, a fireplace dancing with flames, and a bath with a view of the horizon. And a smart wardrobe: built-in lighting that doesn’t wake you up at 6 a.m., shelves for cosmetics living right next to the mirror.
